Posters are generally printed using the same technique as those employed for catalog and brochures printing. It makes use of offset lithography which is still one of the best choices when it comes to printing quality posters. The only difference between printing catalogs and brochures from poster printing is in terms of the size since obviously posters are much bigger. Aside from that, the paper stocks used for printing posters are also much heavier than the usual utilized standard papers but not as thick as those stocks used for brochures.
